R1SE is a non-profit organization that initiates interdisciplinary projects in the areas of art, sport, education and social engagement to promote integration and inclusion. As an umbrella organization, R1SE brings together various initiatives such as " Rap for Refugees " and is based in Hamburg.

At R1SE we believe in the power of community and that we can achieve more together. Our vision is a society in which diversity is celebrated as a strength, barriers are overcome and everyone is given the chance to develop their full potential. With our projects we create spaces in which people come together regardless of their background, strengthen each other and grow together.
With a core team of 13 members and a growing network of volunteers, R1SE aims to give disadvantaged groups opportunities and empower them to become self-effective.

ARTS & CULTURE
PILLAR 1
Creative forms of expression such as rap, graffiti, DJing, dance and beatboxing connect people and create spaces for exchange and development. In our workshops and events we promote cultural exchange and give participants the opportunity to discover and develop their talents.
With projects like " Rap for Refugees " we not only offer artistic workshops, but also a platform to celebrate diversity and solidarity through music. Our own festivals, including the annual highlight in Hamburg, bring newcomers and established artists such as Disarstar, Booz, Ebow, Lia Şahin, Ace Tee, Mariybu and many more to the stage. Together we are sending a strong signal for cultural diversity, empowerment and solidarity.
SPORTS
PILLAR 2
Mit Sportprojekten fördert R1SE Gemeinschaft, Bewegung und Integration. In offenen Angeboten wie Fußball, traditionellem Tanz oder Fitness für Jung und Alt schaffen wir Begegnungsräume für Menschen mit unterschiedlichsten Hintergründen.
Unsere qualifizierten Coaches und Ehrenamtlichen arbeiten in Sporthallen und Wohnunterkünften, um allen den Zugang zu sportlicher Aktivität zu ermöglichen. Ziel ist es, nicht nur körperliche Fitness zu fördern, sondern auch soziale Teilhabe durch die Vermittlung in Sportvereine und Praktika zu stärken. So wird Sport zu einem Werkzeug für Zusammenhalt, Chancengleichheit und gesellschaftliches Miteinander.
PROMOTION OF VOLUNTEERING

R1SE strengthens volunteerism and creates platforms that motivate and empower volunteers. With projects such as the " I Made It Market " we promote the exchange of knowledge and support people in developing and implementing their own social projects. Workshops, networks and joint initiatives offer space for creativity, commitment and innovation. Our goal is to strengthen the self-efficacy of the participants and give them the feeling that they are actively contributing to society. This is how new ideas, strong connections and sustainable changes arise - designed by the community, for the community.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING
PILLAR 4
R1SE supports people in finding their way into education and employment and closes gaps at the interface between those seeking training and companies. With innovative projects such as the " P-ick App " we offer practical guidance for choosing a career and make the application process easier - multilingual, user-friendly and tailored to the needs of different target groups.
Our goal is to empower young people in particular by giving them the tools to confidently shape their professional future. In this way, we create perspectives that promote individual potential and facilitate social integration.
